Step #3 : Finding the Deeper Reason for Your Anxiety
*Most Important Step*
This step is a mixture of cognitive behavioral therapy and reverse therapy. You are actively going to look for problems in your life and change the way you think, feel, and act towards them. In addition, you are going to learn about how the symptoms you feel come as a protective mechanism and what you can do to change this.
If you are aware of these 2 different kinds of therapies than please FORGET what you know because I talk about them in a different way than usual.
You are going to gain the tools and knowledge you need to finally figure out what causes your anxiety and what triggers your panic attacks. Steps 2 and 3 really only help reduce the severity of attacks, but you will keep getting them unless you figure out what really causes your anxiety.
You will be given different exercises and strategies to identify problems, figure out how they effect you, and finally choose the best course of action to solve them.
In addition to real examples of how people, like you, learned about what caused their anxiety and changed their surroundings to solve the problems that caused there panic attacks.
Without Steps 1 and 2 the this cognitive aspect of the system would be worthless. You need the entire system working together to help you.
You must be calm to think straight, you need to be healthy for proper brain function, and you have to actively think about your anxiety triggers to overcome anxiety.
You will learn:
- A step by step plan to discover the negative influences in your life
